My research interest is mainly focused on the synthesis and characterization of magnetic materials bearing transition metal and/or rare earth ions which will find applications in molecular spintronics.

I received my PhD in inorganic chemistry from Brock University, Ontario, Canada, holding an Ontario Trillium Fellowship. During my PhD studies I got appointed the Jack M. Miller Excellence in Research and the Distinguished Graduate Student awards. I joined the group in January of 2019, after being a postdoctoral researcher at Prof. K. R. Dunbar’s group at Texas A&M University where I was studding the magnetic properties of radical-bridged molecular and supramolecular metal complexes. During my free time I enjoy reading books and cooking for my friends.
