I joined the group in 2021 as a DPhil student, focusing on exploring the nanoscale functional devices using carbon based materials such as Graphene Nanoribbons. I fabricate the devices using various nanofabrication techniques available here in Oxford clean room, characterise the devices at both room temperature and in cryogenic environment. The main focus at the moment is studying the thermoelectric effect of single molecules and use them as a nano-scale heat engine on chip.
